Hello, I'm Saji, a passionate artist, and an advocate for human rights. Originally from Tehran, Iran, I've spent the past five years living and working across various countries, including Turkey, Italy, and Switzerland. My journey into photography began over six years ago, blending my love for both portrait and street photography to capture the diverse stories and experiences that shape our world.
During my time living abroad, teaching English and art became essential parts of my life, offering both a means of connection and a way to navigate life away from home. Recently, I've expanded my creative dreams to include music mixing and DJing, embracing the new challenges and opportunities that come with this artistic expression.
Academically, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Shahid Beheshti University in Iran and a postgraduate degree in International Cooperation on the Protection of Human Rights from the University of Bologna, with an Erasmus year at the University of Zurich. My commitment to human rights is deeply personal and is driven by the ongoing struggles for freedom and justice in my home country.
I am also actively involved in volunteer work, including mentoring for QueerAmnesty in Zurich and participating in civil activism in Bologna to raise awareness about the situation in Iran. These experiences continue to inspire my work and fuel my dedication to social justice and artistic expression.
