January 2023This memorial was held on the 40th day of the killing of Mehdi by the Islamic Republic forces. “Mehdi Zare Ashkzari died in Iran after twenty days in a coma following torture. In the past, he had studied Pharmacy in Bologna, where he had also worked in a pizzeria to support his studies.” He went back to Iran two years ago. During the recent revolution in Iran and was arrested, tortured, and died.
